During the course 6 main lectures were held, entitled:
- Polymers - fundamentals
- Natural polymers
- Polymers – analysis and characterizations
- Polyelectrolytes – synthesis, characterization, applications
- Composites and organo-inorganic hybrids for medical applications
- Polymers for dental use
The basic notions were completed by poster presentation and discussion and exemplified by operating the main equipments used in this topic: layer-by-layer deposition equipment, nebulizer, computer-assisted potentiometer and conductometer, turbidimeter, computer-assisted viscometer, multi-cell dia-filtration device, freeze-drying apparatus. Two other equipments were presented to the participants: the HPLC with UV and RI detectors and Sigma700 Tensiometer KSV. A detailed description of the event was given in D5.3. |
